Axalingua, much more than a school<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Axalingua is a Spanish school founded in 2009. We have more than 10 years' experience teaching Spanish to foreigners, both in person and online.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Axalingua is made up of a group of teachers who work with enthusiasm to make their students' Spanish learning fun, effective and motivating. All members of the Axalingua team are active teachers who continuously train to stay up to date with the latest methodological trends in language teaching, especially Spanish.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

Cultural, Sports and Social Activities<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

These activities usually take place on weekday afternoons after Spanish classes. Many of them are completely free, excluding entrance fees or drinks.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Cultural and Leisure Activities<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

  • Interactive tour of M\u00e1laga:<\/strong> a free guided tour of the historic centre on the first day of class.<\/li>
  • Visits to local monuments:<\/strong> cultural tours with teachers to iconic spots such as La Alcazaba, Gibralfaro Castle and the Roman Theatre.<\/li>
  • Museum visits:<\/strong> organised trips to the Picasso Museum, the Thyssen Museum and the Pompidou Centre.<\/li>
  • Spanish cooking classes:<\/strong> practical workshops at the school to learn traditional dishes like paella or gazpacho.<\/li>
  • Dance classes:<\/strong> intensive introductory sessions in flamenco, salsa and bachata.<\/li>
  • Flamenco shows:<\/strong> group night outings to enjoy a live flamenco performance.<\/li>
  • Themed parties:<\/strong> special events on the school's terraces and gardens with barbecues or tastings of local products.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    Weekend Excursions<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t

    The price and running of these excursions depend on the number of participating students.

    • Granada (The Alhambra):<\/strong> a guided tour of the Nasrid fortress and a walk through the Albaic\u00edn.<\/li>
    • Seville:<\/strong> a full-day tour to visit the Giralda, the Real Alc\u00e1zar and the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a.<\/li>
    • C\u00f3rdoba:<\/strong> an excursion to the Mosque-Cathedral, the Jewish quarter and its famous patios.<\/li>
    • Ronda:<\/strong> a visit to the stunning El Tajo gorge, its historic bridge and one of the oldest bullrings in Spain.<\/li>
